The Travel Wrench will give you an edge in any self-defense situation, and training with the Travel
Wrench will enhance your empty-hand, impact weapon, edged weapon, and improvised weapon skills.
The Travel Wrench was specifically designed so that impact strikes will cause severe pain and injury. As
such the Travel Wrench and other self-defense tools should only be implemented if no other option
exists.
Whether you are already proficient in striking, blocking, and intercepting attacks, or if you are starting out
on the path to building your self-defense skills, the Travel Wrench is an excellent training tool. Don’t

The Travel Wrench was originally designed to assist martial artists in developing confidence in empty-
hand striking skills and precision targeting. It was redesigned in 1993 for non-lethal usage, and has
since gained acceptance worldwide. Civilians, bodyguards, police officers, and military personnel
worldwide carry the Travel Wrench. As a discrete personal protection tool, it attracts very little attention
and allows the carrier to walk with confidence from home to vehicle, parking garages to work, public
parks, shopping, cash machines, or sporting events. This appearance of confidence – combined with
an attitude of awareness – can be enough to create the aura that you are not a person to be interfered
